Tips & Ideas
on How to Paint Your Rain Barrel!
You
can paint your Rain Barrel with spray paint for plastic like Krylon
Fusion or RustOleum
Spray Paint for Plastic. RustOleum is available at Menards and
Home Depot. Krylon is available at ACE Hardware, True-Value and Wal-Mart.
We recommend the Krylon Fusion spray paint as the spray tip is specially
shaped to spray the paint in a rectangular fashion like a powered
paint sprayer, whereas the RustOleum sprays in a circle / dot.

Painted Prairie Rain Harvester Rain Barrels given away
September 20, 2008 by the office of Illinois Lt. Governor Pat Quinn:

Austin
Grammer, Prairie Rain Harvester CEO, donated these three Rain Barrels
to the Office of Illinois Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn. They where
hand painted by three local artists, then put on display at the
Lt. Governors tent at the 2008 Illinois State Fair in Springfield.
At the fair and on the Lt. Governor's website (www.CleanWaterIllinois.org)
citizens had the opportunity to enter to win one of the three
painted Rain Barrels. The painted Rain Barrels were given away on
September 20, 2008, during "It's Our River Day" festivities.
